"She had dreamed that she lay beneath a spreading tree somewhere, a tree that whispered with ten thousand soft lips of green; and the dream continued for a moment even after waking"

Post Mortem is a live interactive theatre experience inspired by sci-fi and Lovecraftian horror, exploring the dangers of unchecked human hubris and ambition and the inevitability of death and decay. The story is set in a modern, contemporary world that appears to be very much our own, until you scratch the surface. |
A Living Horror Story
Post Mortem is a horror story shared by up to 16 characters over the course of the weekend of May 11th to May 13th.
Food is provided all weekend long and participation requirements are minimal. The plot will not be progressing after 3am each night but participants are welcome and encouraged to continue to roleplay with each other into the night. |

What is LARP?
LARP is short for live action roleplaying.
Larping is an exercise in collaborative storytelling, designed to invoke thought and emotions in a communal space and setting with other likeminded people.
Larping is structured make belief, and anyone can do it.
We call it live interactive theatre and refer to it alternately as a story or a game. This is to stress larp's collaborative and creative nature: you don't need to have a history of roleplaying or gaming to participate, you only need to be willing to take part in the extra ordinary and create a shared experience

Escape
Larping is an opportunity to turn off your phone, step away and unplug, and escape everyday life for brief periods of time.

Explore
Larping is exploration. By placing ourselves in different contexts we can see the world through someone else's eyes and directly experience our character's struggles and aspirations.

Create & Share
Larping is a creative exercise not too different from acting or improvisational theatre.
Being creative in this setting means sharing the stage: the spotlight and experience is shared, given, borrowed and loaned between players. |
